Meeting with JuVi Cremona Coach, Luca Bechi, and two players
In partnership with Ferraroni JuVi Cremona, the Cremona Campus of Politecnico di Milano is hosting an event with team coach Luca Bechi and players Isiah Brown and Federico Massone.
Connecting sports and the professional world, Coach Luca Bechi will cover key themes including:
- leadership;
- teamwork, with insights applicable to the workplace;
- working under pressure.
Throughout the event, Coach Bechi will delve into group dynamics and psychological approaches in sport. He will share his perspective on how a coach can unlock individual potential and motivate players to push their limits towards higher goals.
Coach Bechi will discuss strategies for bouncing back from setbacks, and learning from mistakes, clearing the way for future achievements.
Players Isiah Brown and Federico Massone will share their experiences, speaking about the challenges of stepping out of comfort zones, and how they balance high-level sport with academic commitments.

SPEAKERS PROFILES
Luca Bechi coaches Ferraroni JuVi Cremona, a team competing in the A2 Old Wild West series championship. Born in Livorno in 1970, Bechi is an experienced coach with an extensive career in Italy and abroad. He began his coaching career in the 1990s and quickly established himself in the world of Italian basketball.
Bechi has coached in various Italian cities, including Livorno, Biella, Turin, and Virtus Bologna. Internationally, he has gained experience in Ukraine and Hungary - further enhancing his global credentials. He led Biella and Mariupol clubs which took part in European competitions.
For the 2023-2024 season, Ferraroni JuVi Cremona appointed him to lead the team, recognising his alignment with the club's values of work ethics, commitment, determination, and pride.
Isiah Gerald Brown is a guard for Ferraroni JuVi Cremona and the team's top scorer with an average of 17.4 points per game. Born in Seattle on 4 September 1997, he began his international career in Cyprus with Frederick Achilleas Kaimakliou, scoring 21.9 points per game. He then moved to Poland, playing for Spojnia Stargard and scoring 12.3 points per game, before continuing his career in Hungary. There, he excelled with Kaposvari (17.5 points) and Budapesti Honved, concluding the 2023/24 season with an average of 20.3 points per game. In 2022, Brown took part in the NBA Summer League with the Los Angeles Clippers, demonstrating his potential, which is highly valued in the American professional scene.
Federico Massone is the point guard for Ferraroni JuVi Cremona. Born in Aosta on 1 May 1998, Massone began his youth career with his hometown club before moving to Pallacanestro Biella. He played at youth level with the Piedmontese team and competed in several national championships before making his first-team debut in the A2 Division during the 2016/17 season.
Massone then gained further experience in the A2 Division, playing for Jesi, Biella once more, and Piacenza. From 2021 to 2023, he continued to develop during his time in Trapani, delivering strong performances, with averages of 13.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 5.3 assists in his final season. In the summer of 2023, he signed with Tezenis Verona, before joining Cremona for the current season.
