WHAT ARE PERCORSI DI ECCELLENZA?
Percorsi di Eccellenza are a three-year advanced course, concurrent with the Laurea in Computer Engineering or Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering, intended for promising students.
The aim is to improve skills and competences in different areas and disciplines, enrich the academic curriculum with in-depth courses and familiarise students with business dynamics through direct experience.
Percorsi di Eccellenza are awarded and maintained according to merit, understood not only as academic performance but as an approach to study and personal growth with a proactive attitude and readiness to take advantage of different opportunities.
The first five recipients will also receive a scholarship worth a total of €5,000.
The advanced training activities can be:
- job experience;
- language courses;
- periods of study abroad;
- in-depth courses on multidisciplinary topics, e.g. Artificial Intelligence, entrepreneurship, mobile programming and development, or bioenergy.
To participate in the competition for the 10 available Percorsi di Eccellenza, you must meet certain merit requirements, but there are no income constraints.
The Pathways are maintained subject to the achievement of certain results detailed in the call.
Percorsi di Eccellenza can be combined with other scholarships.

These graduates acquired a wealth of knowledge and competences that are highly complementary to their university education (constant commitment, multidisciplinarity, proactiveness, sense of responsibility, etc.) which have led them to obtain prominent positions both in important Italian companies and in significant foreign organisations.

In the previous 17 editions, a total of 148 summer internships were completed, a goal achieved thanks to the support of 81 companies, in some cases becoming sponsors of the Pathways, which shared the objectives and chose to host the assignees in the summer period to start a fruitful collaboration that for some of them continued even after graduation.
