On Tuesday 16 April, the Cremona Campus will open its doors to future freshmen for the traditional Open Day!
The morning, from 8.30am to 1pm, has been dedicated to high school students and their families interested in knowing more about the Management Engineering and Computer Engineering programmes.
The afternoon, from 2pm, has been dedicated to undergraduates and graduates that want to discover the Laurea Magistrale Programmes in:
- Agricultural Engineering: the first programme in Italy that aims to train engineers that work in the agro-industrial sector and have a systemic vision.
Students attending in person got the chance to visit the 'A. Rozzi' Laboratory of the Bioenergy Factory and the exhibition of a simulator of a tractor equipped with Artificial Intelligence provided by the COBO SpA group, as well as take a look at some prototypes of mobile robots and an anaerobic digester, a device for extracting hidden energy from waste.
- Music and Acoustic Engineering: An innovative master's degree programme conceived for those who want to study music acoustics in depth (track Acoustic) and for those who want to focus on the study of music informatics and sound processing (track Music).
Students physically attending the Open Day had the opportunity to visit the Sound and Music Computing Laboratory, equipped with an anechoic chamber and dedicated to the development of advanced technologies for the improvement of the violin-making tradition as well as of systematic methodologies for the quantitative evaluation of the physical and acoustic characteristics of string instruments.
The recordings of this year's appointments will be available in the coming weeks.
